Bath Township Fire Department Responds to Mobile Home Fire
Bath Township Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1 report of a mobile home on fire at 1800 Reservoir Road, Lot #12, Lima, Ohio, in Bath Township at 1:36 A.M.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the mobile home heavily involved with fire and smoke showing from the front of the trailer.
The mobile home is owned by James R. Brown who was home at the time of the fire and was able to escape with only minor injuries. He was treated and released by EMS personnel at the scene. Mr. Brown advised fire department officials that he was alerted by his smoke alarms.
Chief Joseph Kitchen estimates the damage to Lot #12 to be $20,000 to the structure and $10,000 to the contents.
No fire department personnel were injured. Lima Fire Department and Perry Twp. EMS assisted at the scene of the fire.
The cause of the fire is undetermined currently and remains under investigation.
Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
