Fire Department

The Bath Township Fire Department responds to multiple types of fires annually. These include structure fires, both residential and commercial, as well as fires at industrial complexes located within the township. Additionally, we respond to vehicle, rail, trash, brush, and other types of fire calls in Bath Township.

Common causes of fire in Bath Township include cooking fires, dryer fires, open burning, and chimney fires. We also respond to fire alarm activations, carbon monoxide alarms, and calls for hazardous conditions such as power lines down and hazmat spills.

The department’s fleet includes one ladder truck, one tanker, and one engine. These pieces of apparatus are backed up by a brush truck, special operations vehicle, and a command car. Additionally, the department has a foam trailer, two medic units, and two staff vehicles.
