Bath Township Fire Department Responds to Apartment Complex Fire

Bath Township Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the Northlake Village Apartments 1735 Lucille Drive, on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 5:27 P.M. The apartments are owned by Monarch Investment and Management Group of Franktown, Colorado.

Upon arrival, units observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the building, on the second floor.

It took firefighters approximately 30 minutes to bring the fire under control with assistance from the following departments: American Township, City of Lima, and Perry Township.

A preliminary damage estimate of $70,000 has been set by the fire department. In all, seven units suffered fire, smoke, heat and/or water damage.

No occupants or firefighters were injured. Multiple residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental and remains under investigation.

Units remained on scene for about three hours.
