Rescue
When residents hear the term “rescue” they often think of ambulances and paramedics which actually refers to our Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Rescue refers to the act of rescuing a victim prior to providing medical care. This may include water rescue, ice rescue, heavy rescue (extrication, both vehicle and industrial), rope rescue, and confined space rescue.
Bath Township firefighters train in all of the areas above and carry equipment to respond to many types of potential rescue scenarios. We have members who hold certifications in these specialty areas and provide additional training to our personnel.
